The fees depend on one's expertise and standing in the profession. If you are very new to the trainer's profession, give the ball to the firm engaging you to fix up the fees. You may sometimes get a fantastic fee!
In case the fee is not very high, still take the engagement as it will give you good experience to grow in the profession. Good luck.

Are you a training provider or a training seeker (deciding trainers & fees)? Only then can answers be relevant. If you are a trainer, follow the advice of Mr. R. Sundararajan. If you are a training seeker, treat the trainer as you would want to be treated as a trainer.
