Hi Mudita,

I believe many teams do not prioritize these points, which is unfortunate as data suggests they impact performance. Interestingly, successful teams and their managers seem to have clear answers to most of these questions. As mentioned in the attachment, some questions may appear intuitive and self-evident but are often overlooked by teams. They can serve as a tool for self-reflection and measuring where team members stand.

Please share your experiences on this as well.

Rakesh

I'm pursuing my MBA presently; I don't have much know-how about working in teams, but I think that all 12 points are linked to the quantity and quality of training imparted to team members and their growth prospects.

Hi Mudita, thanks for sharing. That is an interesting point of view. I could not directly link the questions to the two points you have shared. Could you please elaborate a bit more?

I have read the book too and have used these questions as an "Employee Satisfaction Questionnaire" to analyze the employees' strengths as Marcus Buckingham did, and also the company's strengths through areas of dissatisfaction by the employees. A very good book for managers as it teaches how to manage the workforce and be a good manager.

Hi Rakesh,

What I meant is that teams can only outperform or ask the above-stated 12 questions when they are well-trained and when there are growth prospects for them in the organization. What's your opinion?

You seem to be well experienced in handling teams. As I will be going for my summer internship, can you guide me on which project I should take up in HR and at what place?
