Dear All,
I am working in a hotel as HR. One of my employees worked for a cargo company 10 years ago in Allahabad. The company headquarters is in Hyderabad, and PF used to be deducted. At that time, he was working, he could not get a PF number, so he thought he could not claim. However, he has his payslip and would like to visit the head office to get his PF number and make a claim. Since he worked 10 years ago, is it possible, and what is the procedure? Please guide me.
Regards,
Rex

Dear Rex Martin,
Go to his previous employer with Form 19 and fill the form with the data collected from there. Get endorsed Form 19 by that employer and submit it to the RPFC (belongs to the previous employer). This is the procedure to withdraw the PF amount.
If you want to transfer the PF, fill Form 13 and send it to the same RPFC through the present employer. This will be advisable as the EPF and EPS can be transferred by a single process.

Hi,
To withdraw the PF amount, please fill out Form 19 and have it verified by the employer or any relevant authority such as MLA, SDM, Prasad, Gazetted officer, etc. Then, submit the form to the RPFC (related to the previous employer).
Alternatively, you can fill out Form 13 for transferring the PF to your current account number and send it to the same RPFC through your current employer.

Dear Friend,
To my knowledge and personal experience, if an employee wants to withdraw his P.F. accumulations from his ex-employer after three years, he has to submit an affidavit. This affidavit format can be obtained from the P.F. office. The affidavit has to be submitted along with Form 19 and 10C.
Please let me know if you need further assistance or clarification.
Thank you.

Hi,
I am still confused. Can anyone tell me if I withdraw PF amount after completing 3 years of continuous service, can I also withdraw the Family Pension Scheme (FPS) amount? I heard that in this case, I will be entitled to withdraw only the PF amount (12% + 3.67% = 15.67%). Please clarify/help, as I am afraid to hear that I have to complete 10 years of continuous contributions in the PF Account to withdraw my FPS amount; otherwise, the same shall be forfeited, and I will receive only 15.67% of 24%.

Dear Vijay,
You can claim your full amount of PF (12% + 3.67%) and pension (8.33%). For that, you have to submit Form 19 & 10C. To claim the pension amount, you must have completed a minimum of six months of service. You can claim a total of 24% because you have completed 3 years of service. If your service exceeds 10 years, you will be eligible for a monthly pension after crossing the age of 58.
Hope this is clear for you.

One person worked for over 3 years in our company. He was also a PF member, with a contribution of Rs 720/- (12%) per month. Unexpectedly, he was involved in an accident and passed away. We are aware of the PF benefit details for the employee, including the Provident Fund, pension, and EDLI with the respective formulas.
