I am planning to start an online business. Can anyone let me know what steps I have to take legally and where I have to register my website so that in the future I'll not have any problems? I know the details for starting a private limited or a public sector company. I want to know what the procedure is to start an online business.
Thanking you in advance,

Steps to Start an Online Business
First, get a domain name registered (.com, .co.in, .in) and domain space. Get the website designed. Ensure that the images and contents you use on the websites are copyright-free. The contents on the webpage should not be stolen from other sites.
Since the business is online, you need to integrate it with PayPal or a payment gateway. Contact the Customer Care of the Credit Card department of any bank, as employees in bank branches will not be able to assist. Register your business for the service industry and create a current account in the bank. This is necessary; otherwise, the payment gateway integration will not be possible. Obtain a Business PAN card.
When designing your website, ensure that when the payment page opens, it contains 'https://' as clients will avoid making payments on an 'http://' site since 'https://' is more secure. Check any bank website for reference.
Web pages must be free from any infection (SQL infection) or virus. Design it in a way that allows for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and later Social Media Optimization (SMO) in the future. On the 1st Page (welcome page), try to avoid using flash.
