Hello All,
I have to reframe all the HR policies of my company as we were earlier Second Foundation India Private Limited and now have been taken over by FIDELITY INFORMATION SERVICES INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED. I have to redraft all the policies taking into consideration the Fidelity Standards. I need policies from some IT companies so that I can read them and proceed further in this regard. It's urgent. If somebody can help me out, I will be highly obliged.

Hi All,
I can tell you about a few things, but you must cross-check these with others in HR management of the IT industry.
First of all, all employees will have to accept that there are no fixed working hours for IT people. Although a particular working hour will be mentioned in the appointment letter, it will also indicate that in the event of business exigencies, they may have to work beyond working hours.
There will be no overtime payment for the additional working hours, but a lump sum, depending on the salary and performance of the employee, will be paid as cash awards for the month.
All declared public holidays other than Sundays are not treated as holidays in the IT industry. You have to pick and choose. The maximum number of holidays in the IT industry should not exceed 10/12.
Casual leave without prior intimation is not allowed. Intimation over the phone or SMS to the boss or HR manager is accepted as prior intimation. Such prior intimation should be made at least one hour before the beginning of the office.
In the event the employee has worked throughout the night over and above his/her normal working hours, he/she will be given a special leave on the following day.
There should be a canteen facility for tea break and lunch break. If the company has a system of working 24/6, there should be a break for evening tea and dinner.
Once a month, all employees/managers should meet for a high tea/dinner party.
