Dear All,

I am new to CiteHR. I am pursuing an MBS in HR while working in a pharmaceutical company. A friend provided me with his salary structure to help me understand the breakdown. As I am still learning about HR and do not have any prior experience in the field, I am finding it challenging to comprehend the breakup. Can anyone confirm if this breakdown is accurate?

Thank you.

Please specify your query in detail. Do you need assistance with breaking down a given cost to company (CTC) or calculating taxes, etc.? The attachment provided appears to be a template sourced from the internet that computes taxes based on the attached salary details. Kindly provide more information on your query for further clarification.

As per the first sheet:

1. Fixed monthly salary is given as Rs. 25,000/-. Basic is correct (Normally most of the companies follow this, which is CTC*40%). HRA is also correct (For metro Basic * 50%, Non-Metro Basic * 40%). Conveyance is also correct; it is fixed at Rs. 800/- per month. Other allowance is given as Rs. 8,950/-. Please confirm whether it is fixed.

My clarifications: Please confirm whether the Rs. 25,000/- is a cost to the company (CTC). If so, the PF both employer and employee contribution will be included in it. Kindly confirm this.

Regards.
