Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of drafting a good, employee-friendly leave policy for the company. We are in the engineering goods industry. Apart from the normal sick, casual, maternity, and privilege leave, are there any other categories that one can include in the leave policy?

It's a pleasure visiting the Cite HR website. My name is Bipin. I am in the process of reframing some of the policies such as LTA, medical reimbursement, leave policy, and home furnishing. It would be of great help if I could get copies of these policies for my reference, based on which I can formulate the policies for my organization.

Hi all,

As much as I know, there are no legal requirements regarding the number of leaves. Generally, CL-8, SL-8, and PL-15 or 16 are provided by organizations. There are also some special leaves like study leave or education leave, and maternity leave for fathers.
