Navigating Regularization and Contractual Employment Disputes: Legal Rights and Solutions - CiteHR

Sir, I have worked in a government organization for 10 years and 8 months without any breaks in service, not under a third party but under the District TB Control Society. Unfortunately, due to some health problems, I was unable to attend my duties. I have submitted my doctor's certificates and discharge summary to the officer, but he has not allowed me to resume my duties. Instead, he has appointed another person in my place. I have requested the officer to reinstate me, but he has postponed it for a year. I have also approached higher officials regarding my service matter, but so far, there has been no reply from them. The higher official who promised to appoint me if there were any vacancies has been transferred to another department. Now, I wish to seek assistance from the court. Please help me with this matter, as it is something I will always remember.

Thanks and regards,
Sridhar

I have also been working in an educational institute for the past 8 years on contract without any break. When I sent a representation for regularization, my officials also mentioned that they will assess my performance for the next 2 years. However, by then, they might also get transferred. Please, please help us.
