Hi!

While submitting ESI Challan, we mistakenly mentioned lower wages in the company challan and higher wages in another company's challan. However, we have deposited and reported the correct amounts of employer and employee contributions, including the totals.

Is it possible to rectify this error in the returns with the ESI authority? Kindly assist.

Thanks & regards

Gupta, your question is not clear.

Less wages in one company's challan and higher wages in another company's challan. How many companies and how many challans? How can you pay the correct amount when it's wrongly mentioned in the challan?

Hi!

What I mean to say is we have mentioned the wrong wages in the challan, but the amount deposited is correct, and the correct figures are mentioned in employers' and employees' contributions as well.

My question is, while submitting the ESIC returns, can we provide clarification for the amount of wages and submit the correct amount of wages with the letter? Also, in one month, we have mentioned less wages, and in another month, we have mentioned higher wages, but the contributions stated and deposited are correct.

Thanks & regards
