Hi, I'm attaching an Induction Training checklist which will help you to design your induction program. Besides, the points mentioned by our friend in his post on the Induction manual are the topics that should be covered in any training program.

Wish you good luck.

Dear Upputurichandana,

You are required to prepare an induction manual.

Well, I can guide you as I have done my summer project on the same topic.

Induction manual should cover the following topics:

- Cover page (that should be very attractive and catchy so that it attracts the attention of the newly joined employees).
- Message from Head HR (The message should be such that it makes the reader comfortable with the Company and they feel friendly).
- About the founders of the Company.
- History of the Company and its present standing (like the number of employees working, places where it carried out its businesses, etc.).
- There should be an Organization chart.
- About various businesses of the Company.
- Joining formalities.
- HR policies.
- Welfare Activities carried out by the company for the Employees.
- Benefits offered to the employees.
- Facilities available to the employees.
- About Company's Social Responsibility.
- Road Ahead, i.e., Company's Future.

You can also include a map showing various offices of the Company in the Country and at the end, you can include contact numbers of some key persons and the company's board number.

In the beginning of the handbook, a road map of the Company can be given. (This should include the routes from various destinations to reach the Company).

Finally, I advise you to refer to some good Induction Manuals and try to make your manual very attractive. Employees should feel like going through the manual at least once.

Hope this will serve your purpose to an extent.

Regards,

Shikha
