Actually, the organizational structure in my organization is too vast, so I have to plan it in an organized manner. I have to treat it as a project to assign responsibilities at various locations.
So, please contribute ideas or share some good practices that were followed last year during Diwali in your organization.

Actually, celebrate Diwali in the office for a change. Everyone goes home and spends time with their friends and family. However, there are many employees who end up spending the Diwali holiday all alone because they have nowhere to go. Why not celebrate Diwali in the office for them?

Healthy living initiative... announce prizes for people who have taken up healthy habits or improved their lifestyle (like exercising, quitting smoking, healthy eating, etc.) on or just before Diwali day, starting now. Actually, this has nothing to do with Diwali as such, but it will give people ample time to participate.
