Hi,

I am a new member of this site. I am handling complete HR functions for an IT company and am currently involved in campus recruitments. I am considering incorporating IQ/Aptitude and Psychometric Tests into our selection process. I would appreciate your guidance on which type of Psychometric Test would be most beneficial.

If anyone has sample IQ/Psychometric tests, please email them to me at bhavna.gupta@vinove.com.

Thanks,
Bhavna

Hi Bhavana,

My suggestion:

IQ & Aptitude test: You will find plenty of them on the internet, and then you can choose from them based on the level at which you are recruiting. Additionally, the books that an MBA aspirant uses for CAT/MAT preparation are another excellent way to access quality aptitude and verbal ability tests.

Psychometric Test: If you are unfamiliar with this test, I recommend seeking help from a consultant who specializes in conducting these types of tests for companies because it requires knowledge and experience to do so. Your individual efforts to implement it could be wasted.

I'll soon try sending you some links on IQ/verbal ability and aptitude tests. Before implementation, ask one of your employees (who scores average to good in terms of performance) to take the test to determine its suitability.

Regards, Nalini
