Why don't we have a small HR meet here in Dubai city limits...:confused: which can help us to strengthen our HR bond...Why not share our experiences and have a small get to gather before the summer arrives....:neutral:

I have some late today to coordinate the list. It's hard to circulate an XLS file here, so if you send me the information to my email in the format requested, I will take the time to review the list, inform everyone where most people are, and then perhaps we can decide on a coffee shop or restaurant in which to meet and what time. Please note that I will attend, but I am coming from AUH, so it would be great not to make it too early or too late.

Thanks for the initiative. I was tied up at work and was really busy the whole week.

Firstly, I would suggest that we have all interested participants email their information to a specific email address instead of displaying contacts on the internet. This way, we can ensure that the contacts are safe and it's easier to track the number of participants. If you agree, I can collect the information on my email.

Secondly, why not set an end date for the participants? If you agree with me, let's make the deadline the 10th of June '08.

What do you think? If everyone agrees, let's move forward.

What I can understand is that we want to meet. Let's agree on:

1. Date - 27th June, Friday, Off for everyone.
2. Venue - Any fast food restaurant - say Burger King on Sheikh Zayed Road (accessible to other emirates members also).
3. Time - let's say 2:30 p.m. so we can all meet and finish it in 2 hours and spend the rest of the weekend evening with family and friends. So, it won't affect your other commitments.

If this is acceptable to most of the members, then let's not circulate names and contact details. Instead, reach the designated venue on the mentioned date and time.

What do you say? Can we meet now?

Excitement is building up for the upcoming meet, and I'm delighted to see that. The venue is going to be a surprise and will only be shared with members who have registered with Mujeeba. Please post it as a new thread with the title "Minutes of Meeting No. Cite HR Forum UAE" so that it does not get mixed up in between this thread which is growing fast. Yes, hiring from India is done through outsourcing with the help of recruitment agents in various cities.
