Dear All,

Is it possible to avail the memorandum of Article of a registered company from ROC? If possible, what's the procedure of application?

Thanks,
Binut

Hi Binut,

Please be a bit more clear. What you require is a sample or the copy of the memorandum of an already registered company? And if the latter, then is the company registered under your name?

AJ

Dear AJ,

I need the subject item of an already registered company, but it is not in my name. Is it possible to obtain it for any registered company in the public interest?

BINUT

Yes, you can get the above MOA and AOA.

The MOA is designed to communicate to the public the state of affairs of the company and its purpose of being and operating. This aids various stakeholders of the company (creditors, suppliers, shareholders, etc.) to evaluate the extent of their risk and also possibilities of the company to overcome them at a future date.

Hi Binut,

The details you require can be found at Ministry of Corporate Affairs. For specific company details, you can approach the respective state Registrar of Companies (ROC), and they will provide you with the necessary information. You might need to inquire in the Indian way :-)

AJ
