I have gone through the proforma of various letters for disciplinary actions. These are very good and useful to all HR fraternity. I feel that depending upon the facts of each company, necessary changes must be made in these letters by the concerned HR persons. In certain eventualities, even the wording of the format should be changed so that bias is not alleged.

Very good post, Mr. Kumar. However, 80 to 85% of the coverage is on disciplinary matters, and the remaining percentage is on personnel issues. There are also non-routine matters in HR, such as Training Needs Identification, Performance Analysis Reporting, and even FIRs in disciplinary cases. Providing some samples of these would be beneficial for junior HR executives.
