your answer of your question is very simple. As you will grow in the career you will get to know that "higher designation = higher expectations from juniors and higher job insecurity" in some cases managers are just judging your patience or capabilities of doing work in adverse situations.
If your manager is not happy with you or he/she is always strict with you, keep following points in your mind while doing work.
1 everyone need a friend, subordinate, or a person with whom they can share their frustrations. your manager might be frustrate with higher management or with his/her personal affairs.
try to read person's psychology.
2 show them that in stress also you can smile.
Smile is the key of success.
at least once try to forget that your manager is strict with you or he/she don’t like you. try to think positively, as might be you are doing a mistake continuously unknowingly.
do smart work and try to make him dependant on you, he must realize what are your importance for the organization and even for him.
follow these points with positive attitude. I know this is not an easy task but believe me just try it once by full heart. you will surely get success.
job changing is not a solution for this coz there is no guarantee that you wont ge such manager again.
