Can a B.Tech Fresher with SUN Certification Negotiate Their Desired Salary in Interviews?

I am a B.Tech fresher with a specialization in Information Technology. I have recently cleared the SUN certification exam. My question is, "Can I demand a pay package of my choice in an interview?"

Generally, companies have fixed salary levels for Freshers (ITIs, Degree, Diploma Engineers, and MBAs). Therefore, it would be better if you could gather information on whether Sun Microsystems has fixed salary levels.

If the levels are not fixed, you can, and in fact, you should go for salary negotiations.
