What Are the Starting Salaries for SAS Programmers and Medical Writers in Clinical Research BPOs?

I am the HR manager for a newly set up clinical research BPO in India. We are primarily focused on the documentation of clinical research. I would like to inquire about the starting salaries in similar companies for a SAS Programmer and medical writer. All our employees hold master's degrees in biotechnology or bioinformatics.

I kindly request your assistance in providing this information. I am conducting research on salary packages to set the compensation structure for our company. I need to understand the current market rates.

I am also working with one of the leading CROs in India, based in Gujarat. Pay packets are higher compared to other industries. For a fresh B.Pharm, we are offering 10K, and for a fresh M.Pharm, it would be around 13K. The salary also depends on the city where we are offering the position. If it is in a metro city, then the pay scale would be different.

I am a postgraduate in Pharmacy (M.Pharm in Pharmacology). Currently working in a clinical research company with 2 years of experience as a clinical research coordinator. M. Pharm pharmacists are in high demand these days due to the boom in the CRO industry. If you really want to get a good opportunity, then Ahmedabad is the best place for it. A lot of CROs are present here; maybe you can try once, and you will definitely get a good opportunity.
