How Godrej's Training Programs Evolved Since the 1990s: What Can We Learn from Their Successes and Shortcomings?

The case explains the training and development initiatives of the Godrej group since the late 1990s. In the late 1990s, the Godrej group initiated various training and development programs such as the TQM workshops, 'Parivartan', EVA training, GALLOP, Spark, e-Gyan, English language training, and BPO training. The case explains each of these programs in detail and the benefits that the group reaped from all these initiatives. The case ends with the shortcomings in Godrej's training and development initiatives.

It's great to learn what other companies do to help their employees and themselves. Since the case study doesn't mention the responses received from the trainees, I'm afraid I won't be able to contribute much. However, having a good training effectiveness model is essential because it:

1. Assists the organization in understanding the strengths and weaknesses.
2. Encourages trainees to take the program seriously.

Thank you very much for your valuable suggestion. In fact, an attachment will only give you a very brief picture of the case study. When I asked for valuable contributions, I meant that everybody can share such kinds of case studies that can greatly help training managers in many ways. I will keep posting a few good case studies in detail.

Let us make this forum exclusively for training managers or training heads who can share their problems or questions, and anyone can provide solutions for the same.
