Skill Enhancement?

Hi all,
I am doing my pg in HR through distance learning and iam not getting opening in HR.I feel iam not learning enough to get into HR because being a distance learning course I am not getting exposure to practicle aspect of market.Every paper is theoritical in nature.Everything seems dull and useless.
Can anybody tell me how i can enhance my skills in HR so that i get a job easily?is there any course i can do for my betterment?Since iam not getting a job in HR line what else job should i look out for?if i take up anyjob as of now then can i easily switch to HR later?
I am a fresher & iam from delhi.
Kindly help me out.

HELLO DEAR ASSOCIATE,

Since ur doing ur HR through distance mode u may find some practical difficulty in understanding the course but constant study of the Topices and practicl dealing with case studies can suely enhance ur capabilitits. s should always have a association with some kind of HR project .

in addition to this please go throug some HR magzines,periodicals and other relevent material in addition to ur course matetrial..

Regarding getting job in HR it is no way going to be effect by ur distance degree corporates will surely hire u for ur services based on ur skilll and competencey ..so never think that Distance mode is not helpful in getting godd job ...todays corporats hardly bothers about ur Mode of Degree. They on requires ur Skill and prsentability.. so my dear cheer up and look in to the postive sides of the coins always

Sir,thanks a lot for ur guidance.I am relieved to know from a professor that the course iam doing through distance learning won't become a problem in getting a job.
As per ur guidance i will cultivate the habit of reading HR magazines & periodicals.
Sir , as of know can i take up any job though not related to HR?r Hr live projects available in the market for students like me who r pursuing distance learning?
