New to Start-Ups: How Do I Create an Effective Induction Program?

This is Ashwini here, very new to this forum. I have joined a start-up company recently and need to prepare an Induction program first. Hoping that a few of you will help me in completing my first assignment by sharing your ideas, suggestions on the Induction program.

Hi Ashwini,

Please do not overload the program with routine or mundane information about the company. Keep these to a minimum and provide pointers to where employees can find them later - such as websites, manuals, etc.

Make sure there are enough fun and feel-good activities as well. Infuse these activities with messages that make people feel proud to have joined your company.

The bonding that can be created during the induction - with the company and other colleagues - will definitely last longer.
