Dear Nitin Parijaat,

Please note that Business Development is a vast subject that aligns with your type of business. Are you a Software Company, Manufacturing Company, or a Business Sector - Wholesale or Retail? Whatever the type of business, the following general points may help you:

- You need to study your competitors and their market share.
- How is your product or service unique or different from others?
- Consider hiring an agency for market research and submit a report.
- Strategize to position your product/services in the competitive market based on the research.
- Place advertisements in both Print & Electronic Media.
- Ensure rigorous follow-ups for orders.
- Maintain a schedule for timely delivery.
- Give presentations in public platforms like Industrial Associations, Educational Institutions, etc., to promote your product.
- For FMCG products, clothing, footwear, tourist bags, etc., consider displaying them in Malls and Big Bazaars.
- For export-oriented products or machinery, showcase them in Export/Industrial Exhibitions to enhance your brand equity in the market.

I hope I have clarified by providing various instances that may suit your business.

aussiejohn

The OP has not posted on CiteHR since 2008. It would be reasonable to assume they have moved on in their career, and this is no longer relevant to them.

In any case, it has nothing to do with HR questions or problems.
