Hi,
I was relieved from a company (IT) on June 3rd, 2005, and joined a new organization on June 6th, 2005. However, it was only a few days ago that I noticed my old company had issued an experience letter stating that my last day was June 7th, 2005, creating a discrepancy of 2 days between my date of relieving and my start date at the new company.
Upon contacting my previous company, they are unwilling to rectify the error. They insist that all my relieving formalities were completed based on the date specified in the letter (June 7th).
I feel helpless and unsure of what to do in this situation. Is there a way to resolve this issue? What could be the implications of such an error in the future?
Thank you.
