CHOICE PAY - what does this comprise of and what does this actually mean?

Hi, I have just received my offer letter. I will be joining in August. In my offer letter, I have something that reads as CHOICE PAY, which constitutes a significant portion of my compensation. Can someone please explain what this comprises and what it actually means?

Choice Pay is nothing but what we refer to in our company as flexible pay, which is a part of your total package. These days, there is a system of giving the benefit of choice pay to the employees so they may plan a particular part of the salary in order to save income tax.
