How Do I Search and Screen Resumes on Job Portals? Seeking Advice from HR Pros

Dear all the members of HR Network,

I am a new professional in the HR sector. Wherever I go for an interview, they ask me a common question: "Do you know how to search and screen candidates' resumes on job portals?" Unfortunately, I have no answer as I lack knowledge about that process.

Could you all please help me by providing information on how to search for a candidate?

Hello Somdatta,

It is not at all a tough job for screening candidates on job portal, say, Naukri.com. All you have to do is log into the portal using the company's username and password allotted. Then, you have to type the required profile of the desired candidates in the columns allotted, and then click on 'Search'. You will get a list of potential candidates along with their contact numbers. Shortlist a few of them and contact them. It's the same as when you search for a job on Naukri.com. It's very simple.
