Hi, this is the AP's PT tax slab for different salary ranges.

AP's Tax Slabs:
Income Monthly Professional Tax
Up to Rs.1,500/- Nil
Range from Rs.1,500/- to Rs.2,000/- Rs.16
Range from Rs.2,000/- to Rs.3,000/- Rs.25
Range from Rs.3,000/- to Rs.4,000/- Rs.35
Range from Rs.4,000/- to Rs.5,000/- Rs.45
Range from Rs.5,000/- to Rs.6,000/- Rs.60
Range from Rs.6,000/- to Rs.10,000/ Rs.80
Range from Rs.10,000/- to Rs.15,000/- Rs.100
Range from Rs.15,000/- to Rs.20,000/- Rs.150
Range above Rs.20,000/- Rs.200

Professional Tax is fixed by the respective state governments. Please see the attachment for an example in Andhra Pradesh state. A new Professional Tax G.O. has come into force.
