Dear Neat PP Presentation,

What about the time limit for filing the complaint and procedure for its cognizance, which is the crucial part of the process? This is missed out.

With Regards,

Dear sir,

Your PPT is very good. However, recently we have read in the newspapers that Stop Payment is out of the purview of Section 138 as ruled by the Honorable Supreme Court. This information has been published in the newspapers but has not been reported by any reporter.

Hi, Sir,

I want to know whether Demand draft comes under negotiable instrument or not? And will it come under the negotiable instrument act?

Regards,
Suresh.

Dear Friend,

Thanks for sharing this presentation; no doubt, this will help all of us. I had a problem like this, but I had given a signed check (account was closed) to my friend. I do not have any money transactions with him, but now some other person has sent me a court notice under sections 138 and 142. I am attaching the notice document for reference. What should I do now? Can I file a case? Please send your suggestions.

Warm regards, Umesh Chaudhary (welcomeumesh@yahoo.com)

I really appreciate the very good PowerPoint presentation. However, adding articles to sections 9, 10, 18, 65, 85, 89, and 131 would help in making and understanding section 138 better. Still, it is a very good presentation.

Regards,
Sanjay
