How Do I Update Our Shops and Establishment Registration After Moving Premises in Haryana?

Hi All,

Please help me in getting the information related to registration under the Shops and Establishment Act in Haryana. I am working in a company, and we had our registration at our last premises. However, we have now changed our premises and need to make the necessary changes in the registration. Please guide me as I hardly know anything in this area.

Hi, I am not a senior person, but based on my knowledge, you have to fill out Form E to change the address, along with the required fees.

All that you have to do is to intimate the change to the labor authorities and get it amended in the Registration certificate.

Hi Raul,

All administrative changes have to be done at the shops and establishment office of the respective state. Hence, arrange to visit the area shop inspector and fill in the form for address change; it's available in their office itself. You might need the signature of the owner or partners and the company stamp for this process.

Also required will be the new location proof, i.e., the rental agreement copy or the ownership agreement. In some states, they do come for verification; the entire process won't take more than three to five days if done on an "urgent" basis; otherwise, the entire process takes 15 days.
