Hello Namrita,
Well, to suggest something interesting, you can conduct role plays with your batches. You can divide the whole strength of your batch into several teams, depending on the batch size (4-5 members in each team). Give them topics like news presentation, where one member from a group can act as a News Reader, another as a News Reporter, and a third person as a sportsman or celebrity, etc.
Do not assign roles or provide scripts (dialogues) to the group; let them work among themselves. Give them 30 minutes, or whatever time is suitable according to you, to practice for their task. Then, ask them to demonstrate their presentation. For example, if you have a batch of 10 people, you can divide them into 2 groups, Group A and Group B. Announce the topic of the role play, such as news presentation, courtroom drama (roles: Judge, 2 lawyers, policeman, etc.), advertisement (roles: any character - ask them not to copy commercials telecast on television, they can promote a brand), or a cookery show (roles: Chef, host, guest).
Remember to give the same topic to all groups. Let them decide the characters and dialogues based on the announced topic. Ask them to deliver their performance team-wise. Everybody will enjoy the session, and the best part of this exercise is that you can evaluate your trainees on their confidence level, team coordination, voice quality, team concept, creativity, communication skills, interpersonal skills, and comprehension.
