Planning an Open House Forum: What Should I Consider to Make It Truly Beneficial?

Hi, I am working with a financial organization that is sales-oriented. As a part of the employee betterment program, I wish to conduct an open house forum.
I need your suggestions on what key factors to keep in mind before proceeding with the process and which process I should use to make the program more useful.

Dear friend,

Problems are the best cues; identify some top-of-the-mind, burning problems and understand them from multiple angles as perceived by the employees. For example, handling a difficult customer, inadequate travel budgets, blind spots of the superiors, low motivation levels, inadequate infrastructure, untrained staff, poor incentives, unproductive assets... numerous...

Don't turn off employees when they are speaking. Encourage them, no matter how insensible the suggestion is. Don't allow mud-slinging. Be circumspect. Don't criticize management or owners.

Let somebody record the proceedings. Thank them individually name by name for each contribution. But prepare well by envisioning all the problems/areas with primary focus on some striking insights or impressive outcomes.
