I am really sorry that most of you could not open the file. I am also sorry for replying to you so late. In fact, I was away to attend the two-day 15th National Convention organized by IMCI on Value Creation Through Innovation And Knowledge Management held in Delhi on the 14th and 15th of March 2008.

I just can't explain my restlessness for the two days Parwez HR Rajdhani was off route from CiteHRNetwork and diverted for routine maintenance to the IMCI sheds (convention). Indeed, the service received there was splendid, and I shall soon provide you all with a fresh ride in the refurbished Coaches of Parwez HR Rajdhani with an additional MPFI (management professional for innovation) unit in the brain.

Returning to the last station where most of you could not board the Statutory Compliance Coach, I am reattaching a group e-ticket to the train.

I just wanted to make one addition, that is, you have not mentioned the "Labour Welfare Fund."

Labour Welfare Fund - is the amount which is to be deducted in the month of June and December (Half-Yearly return is to be filed). This fund is utilized for social welfare by the government.

Following are some points which are required for calculating LWF:

1. Manager and above grade - Nil (as their Income Tax is Deducted)

2. Employees drawing wages exceeding Rs. 3000/- per month:

Employee contribution @ Rs. 12/- per employee and employer contribution Rs. 36/- per employee.

3. Employees drawing wages up to and inclusive of Rs. 3000/pm:

Employee Contribution @ Rs. 6 per Employee, Employer Contribution @ Rs. 18 per Employee.

The cheque is to be drawn in the name of "Maharashtra Labour Welfare Fund." The cheques, covering letter, and Form A1 have to be sent on or before the 15th of January and 15th of July.
