Hi,
Everybody at some point in life may end up in the same situation that you are in, including me.
Firstly, do research on the internet about individual subjects and check what each subject consists of. Alternatively, if you go through the syllabi of any MBA school, you will find the subjects. I have a list of subjects; if you need it, let me know.
Next, interrogate where exactly you fit and where your interests lie.
I would like to give you my example:
I chose Finance as my major subject in my graduation level and have opted for the same in my post-graduation as well. Luckily, I am now working in HR at a recruitment consultancy, and I realize that I am a good fit for this role. Since I am in the first year, I am planning to include HR as my specialization. I am pursuing PGDBA through Symbiosis. Hopefully, I can find time for my studies and complete the dual specialization, which I plan to take up next year.
If you are good at calculations, analytical skills, enjoy working with money (such as in major finance projects), go for finance.
If you are an extrovert, love getting to know people and psychology, HR is the best choice.
If you are extremely good at creativity, Marketing is awesome.
Remember, no subject is bad, provided that you enjoy it!
I hope this information helps you in deciding. If so, please let me know.
Good luck.
Regards,
Roopa :) :)
