Hi all,

I hope everybody is doing well. I need some help and suggestions from professionals out there as I am planning to start my own job consultancy firm. I would appreciate it if senior professionals could provide me with the strategy on how to proceed and the basic requirements needed to start my own business.

All the suggestions given would be highly appreciated.

Hi EAFIL,

Please tell me, how is your contact with the corporate world? What kind of areas are you planning to serve, i.e., industries? Up to what level? How are you willing to plan it out?

Best regards,

EAFIL

Hi eafil,

Thank you for the quick response. Well, I have some contact with the HR people, but the contacts are not numerous. To increase my contacts, I will engage in some email marketing and telemarketing activities, which can help me build more connections. Additionally, my website is currently under construction. I am primarily focused on the IT/BPO sector as it has good prospects. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to share them as I would highly appreciate it.

Regards,
Sylvia

Hi,

I would like you to first look into the BPO sector as you can find candidates at ease. The IT sector has huge competition compared to other sectors, so just plan carefully. Make sure you plan a lot before you take any steps. Start with business development, meaning get clients first. Once that is in progress, focus on getting good recruiters. Avoid advertising in the beginning as it's a huge waste. Prioritize getting clients first, then recruiters. By a couple of months, your recruiters will be fully involved. Begin with small and midscale companies initially, and by the time everything settles down, you will be ready for big companies. 😊
