Job Specification of Quality Assurance Manager
1. BS/BA degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
2. Minimum of 8 years of quality assurance experience, with at least 3 years in a management position.
3. Strong understanding of different software development life cycles (waterfall, iterative), contemporary software quality assurance processes, and automated tools.
4. Must have experience in managing and collaborating with distributed team members.
5. Knowledge of internet and e-business processes, disciplines, and standards.
6. Strong analytical skills and experience in implementing and administering Quality Assurance metrics, such as defect profiles and performance against entry/exit criteria.
7. Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal communication, and project management skills are essential.
8. Strong leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect while effectively motivating team members in a creative manner.
9. Must have a drive for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process improvement, and product quality and reliability.
