Effective HR Policies

hello friends,
am a HR of an IT company. 2 weeks later our CEO is arriving whom i will meet for the first time. i am new to this proffession, so not that muchaware of HR policies. i perform my daily duties very effeciently but still i need to know wat lse i need to knw and perform..i have gone through a number of related topics posted in this site but still i want to have a effective and updated suggestion on the same...our CEO mite ask me lot many questions from these....so i want myself to perform well in front of him.....i hope you all understand my situation :( .....i need replies and help from you positively.... :)

Don't get panic. You can just introduce yourself and put a garland to him. Also tell about the performance and duties you have performed with a detailed report when he is in relax manner

yaah that i can definitely do...but i must know the policies well...as told by my senoirs...becoz last wen he visited india he asked this sort of questions to our X-HR.... 1)like wat are the HR policies???? 2) wre wud u like to see your company in next 2 years? 3)wat new thngs you wil do for the betterment of the company ? etc etc..... am really scared.... will you pls help me how to handle this sort of questions.....???and wat othr questions can he ask me and how to handle those??? hope you will help me in this regard....

Pls help me to make HR policy for Construction Co.. as I need to make the HR policy by keeping in mind all laws pertaining to constrution co.. so request from our members to favour me on the same.

Do Worry about that. Just study Your Material with u and make a view to last years reports and comparision them with latest reports, analyies them in a critical way. You would get the answers what your will be asked. if you find it good suggestion them write me at [Login to view]

If i am the CEO i might ask the following questions tooo..
1. As there is going to be global recession , are your employees ready for a paycut or is there a fear of job security among them...
2. What is the rate of attiration for the last 6 months and has it improved or gone bad?
3.What is the productivity level of the employees ?
4.How have you planned the career progression for the employees.
5.Have you identified leaders in your company?
