Summer Internships: What Do Companies Really Expect from Their Trainees?

The summer internships are about to start, and many organizations offer summer projects to campus students. I would like to know from the members what exactly the expectation of the industry is from the summer trainees.

Hi Rohan,

The industry actually looks for a candidate who has a very good basic technical knowledge and definitely has the urge to learn. They don't expect that the candidate will know everything, but what is actually seen is whether the candidate clearly knows what he was taught during the total course duration.

I think you are going to face it... Is it so? Then, ALL THE BEST! :) :D

Expectations also depend on the time available. Students who have a short period of internship may not be able to take up big projects due to time constraints.
