Are Long-term Improvements in Indian Manufacturing Truly Sustainable? Let's Share Our Thoughts

Hello friends. I am a manufacturing professional who has spent nearly 20 years in the industry. I have experience with various Quality Management Systems, TPM, and Lean methodologies. Currently, I am working as a TPM coordinator and have implemented these practices in many plants.

My experience with Quality Systems is very little, but I have been very fascinated by it since the beginning. I have been working in manufacturing units since the beginning. I have attended a few training programs, read some articles, and, more importantly, spoken to seniors on the technical side of manufacturing units. We can see improvement in a few industrial setups only, especially those influenced by other developed countries. Basic productivity is going down. There are fewer thinkers and more highly paid workers. That is why a few rich individuals are creating more poor individuals.
