Need Help Understanding the Role of a Category Manager in the Lighting Industry?

Greetings!

Hope you are all doing well. I have got a new position to close, i.e., Category Manager-Lighting. However, I am clueless about the position. We primarily recruit from naukri.com, and I am responsible for that.

Can you please help me out? What exactly will be the industry from where I can search CVs? What will be the job profile?

Sorry for forgetting to mention that I am from the retail industry. The only clue I have provided is merchandising and must have experience from the lighting industry.

Please help me out.

I too am not very sure, but try someone who is into brand building, particularly from the office automation industry. A company that provides large display products to retail malls, large companies for their boardrooms, or to hotels.

The category manager post is defined as being responsible for the particular allotted category, such as LHH or HHH, which stands for Light Household and Heavy Household, respectively, related to the retail/hyper industry.
