Waiting for PF Cheques: How Long Did It Take for You to Receive Yours?

Dear Sir,

I resigned from one organization and joined another organization 4 months ago. I submitted my PF form on 31st January 2008 to the PF regional office. I received a receipt from that office, and they informed me that it would take 15 to 20 days to receive the cheques. However, I have not received any cheques yet.

I am wondering how many days it will take to receive the cheques. I would be grateful if anybody could assist me with this matter.

Generally, it takes 45 days for the receipt of the amount. I think it may take some time. In the meantime, just inquire with your earlier company whether they have forwarded the form for withdrawal of the amount. Hope this clarifies well.
