Understanding Working Hours and Labor Law Concerns: Employee Details Discussion

I am having a query about the working hours of employees. I have heard that within the last 6 or 7 months, working hours have been extended from 8 hours to 12 hours a day (including lunch).

I want to confirm whether this piece of information is correct or not. Where can I get details about the changed labor law related to this matter? If any one of you has information, kindly share it.

There cannot be any change on working hours upwards. It is an international standard, and we are a party to this. We can reduce it, but we cannot increase it! :D :D :D :D

I am working for a limited company. Our working hours are 10, including lunch. According to me, it should be 9 hours. What is your opinion? Kindly let me know.
