Hi,

Can anyone guide me on different team building exercises within one group and outside the group?

Thanks,

Hi Mohit,

Your question is a bit confusing to me. Do you mean that you want a team-building exercise that emphasizes the interpersonal relations/cooperation within the team and one that helps the team to work with other teams?

There are lots of team exercises. Do a search on the site HR, and you'll find them. Check the 'Blind Man's Tower' I had posted sometime last month.

Hi Mohit,

You can try the Wooden Plank exercise as it is very good for team building and teamwork. In this game, there will be two long wooden planks with holes at the center at regular intervals. Long ropes will have to be tied to these holes, and 2 to 3 participants will have to walk a specified distance by keeping each leg on each plank and by holding the ropes. Participants will have to stand in a queue on these planks. This is a good exercise as there will definitely be misjudgment by the participants while walking, and they try to match each other.

You can contact me for further queries, if any, regarding this exercise at [Login to view].
