I have been a member of PF for the last 15 years. Can I withdraw the PF fund? If so, what are the formalities.

Hi,

You are eligible for the P.F. withdrawal, but you have to fill out the P.F. Form No. 19, 10C, and may need to provide your NSSN. However, you should apply for the P.F. withdrawal a minimum of 2 months after. These forms should be submitted to your organization, where you were employed before leaving.

I think that while on the job, we can apply for PF through our employer under certain circumstances.

You can definitely apply for PF withdrawal if you have left the organization. Right after 2 months of leaving, you need to fill out Form 19 and Form 10C. Additionally, it is necessary to provide your National Social Security Number.

Dear,

It is not clear whether you are currently employed or have quit your job. There are two types of withdrawals from PF:

1. If you are still employed: You may apply for a non-refundable advance from PF by submitting Form 31 under Sec 67.

2. If you have quit your job: You may apply after 60 days from the date of leaving the job by submitting Form 19, '10C,' or '10D.'

Yes, you can apply for the withdrawal of PF. Please submit the forms 10C, 19, and NSSN form duly filled in every respect. Also, you will have to wait for 2 months from the date of leaving your current job for withdrawal.
However, it is always advised instead of withdrawal, you should transfer PF by submitting form 13.
