Can anybody tell me how to keep leave record format in a small organization? And what action should be taken when an employee takes leave without prior notice?

It is better and easier to maintain the attendance in an Excel sheet on a monthly basis.

In case of leave taken without prior notice, the following options are available:
- A personal warning
- Adjust with the available CL
- Give a memo

On the other hand, since you have requested an Excel format to be used, please find the attached Excel document for calculating leave for your organization.

However, please refer back to your human resources manual and apply your rules on entitlement, overtime, and carry-forward.
