How Can I Check the Status of My EPF Account? Need Guidance on the Right Website or Link

I am working in an MNC in Hyderabad through a consultancy from Chennai. From the beginning, I have been asking about my EPF account, but they are not giving any answer for that. Please give me any suggestions. Again, as per the EPF act, half of the EPF will be borne by the employer, and half will be paid by the employee. But in my case, it's not like that. The whole 100% amount will be deducted, and we don't have any proof for that. Many people are involved in this situation.

Please help me to get my EPF. I am a very poor guy.

The firm or company with which you are working has a unique P.F. code number. For example AP/XXXXX, if the company belongs to the state of Andhra Pradesh. In that particular company each employee also has a unique number. For example AP/XXXXX/YYY. Knowing this unique number you can enquire at your concerned Regional Provident Fund Office or Sub-Regional Office in which your company is depositing the Provident fund amounts. Through phone you can speak with the concerned clerk and find out the balance amount in your account.If you want to know the phone numbers of various Provident Fund offices you can visit the website www.epfindia.com….

This is a case in a state government office where I worked for 4 years. The contractor deducted some amount from my salary and paid it to the EPF office for a certain period. Due to internal and external problems, the contractor was removed from the company in the middle of the academic year. Since then, the contractor has been absconding, and there has been no response from the contractor, the state government office, or even the EPF office located at Kukatpally.

My EPF number is AP/HY/KKP/51674/24. I humbly request that action be taken against the concerned contractor and that a possible way be made to expedite the release of my EPF. Thanking you, sir!

You can inquire about your query with the related PF Office either by phone or by visiting them in person. The Provident Fund Department provides an account statement showing the status from March to February every year. Please ask your employer to provide you with the PF account statement. You should have the following information available: Establishment Code, Extension Number, and Employee Code.

The Establishment Code is the unique code assigned to your organization. The Extension Number is for the branch of your organization, if applicable, and the Employee Code is the identification code provided by your organization for deducting contributions.

You may also address your grievances to the following address for grievance redressal:

If you feel that the department has not provided you with all the necessary information, you have the right to apply to them under the Right To Information. Additionally, you can submit your grievances to rtiindia.org.

Hi, I have had an EPF account in my previous companies with a brief two-month gap when I took up some consultancy assignments. I got my EPF account transferred thrice by filling up Form 13. Now I've made yet another job shift, and this company does not have EPF deduction. What should I do under these conditions? Should I close my EPF account or continue with it? There is a likelihood of losing the tax benefits if it is closed before completion of five years, and in my case, this holds good.
