ESI Applicability [Thread 80333]

Dear Seniors,
In our company there are 50 employees out of which only 5 employees are having less than Rs.10000/- as gross salary then is our organization is applicable under ESI act

Dear All,
I want to give clarification about the applicability of ESI on such a establishment , that in such a establishment ESI is not applicable.
As far as P.F is concern in that case P.F. number is necessary if all the employees of establishment is above the ceiling i.e. Rs.6500/-

Applicability ESI comes only if your organization - have 20 / 10 coverable employees, whose salary is Rs.10000 & below.

ESI is not applicable to ur organisation as per new ammendment in which it has been stated that for coverage purpose also we have to calculate only those employees who are getting less than 10000/- salary

my company is a consulting company having 40 employees and out of those 40, 35 are getting salary of more than 10000. is ESI or PF is applicable to my company.

Hi ,
I am working in a Records Storage & Retrieval Management Compnay. This company is doing only for storage of hard copy record, using 20 kilo watt electricity for bulb and tubelights and office operations. May I know from you "Can we covered under ESI Act"?. We are received a notice from concern deptt and alloted the number also. What can we do when we are not entitle for ESI. Please help in this regard.
