How Is Gratuity Calculated?

I would like to know how is the gratuity payout calculated. I have heard that its 15 days of pay based on your current pay structure. Not too sure....

Gratuity formula is as under
Basic + DA at the time of leaving *15 * number of years of completed service / 26

DA stands for Dearness Allowance. It may not be there in in BPOs or it may not be paid at senior levels
It is paid to nutralise inflation
Daily Allowance does not attract gratuity or PF or Bonus

Gratuity = BASIC + DA/26*15*No.of Year of Services
Eligibility Criteria is Minimum compilation of 5 Year of services.

In what circumstances, a person after serving 5 years in a company is not eligble for Gratuity payment.

Dear Sir,
I have been working in Organisation company from last 9 years & company deducted my Pf from my salary but problem is company didn't gave me pf slip & Pf no.from joining.

Did you ever get a payslip which shows PF deduction component out of your salary. If yes , the must be payung it you can ask for pf number otherwise you can approach pf department.
