Struggling to Create a Genuine Indian Pay Slip for Visa: What Details Should I Include?

beatallica
I was employed for 6 months by a small company (well, a mom and pop shop) for 4 months, and they don't give out pay slips. I now need one for visa purposes. None of the people at my previous company know how to make one or what information to include! They used to pay me by cheque (TDS deducted), which got transferred to my personal bank account.

I would really appreciate it if anyone could tell me about the details that I should get included on the pay slip to ensure it is considered genuine by the embassy. I have seen some friends' pay slips, and they include Provident Fund, etc., as well. I have no idea about it. Please help!!!!

My salary, by the way, was Rs 30,000 per month, and they used to deduct TDS of Rs 2,500.

Thanks so much!

Thank you so much for your response; it was most helpful.

Regarding the EPF deduction, do I need to have the "Provident Fund A/C Number" included on my pay-slip? If so, how can I obtain it?

Thanks once again.
