Hi ,
if you are planing for your own then i advidse you to manage the salary breakup as per following so that you can get the maimum benefit of tax.
Basic 50% of CTC
Coveyance : 800 (Tax Free)
Childrens education allowance : 200 max (Tax Free)
Hra 60% of Remaining amount,(Tax Free)
Medical should me 15K max (Tax Free against reimbursement)
LTA : 10% of CTC (Tax Free against reimbursement)
Meals vouchers (Tax Free)
balance amount you can show as spacial allowance.
if you are calculating this for your own employees.
then calculate FBT on the above mentioned reimbusement and less the amount from total CTC.
