Thank you for posting a great PPT; it's excellent.

I wish more Indian organizations would emulate Nortel. That is, to work out a plan of action to engage employees.

I liked the idea that "securing emotional commitment leads to performance & securing rational commitment leads to retention. If an employee likes what he does, he/she is more likely to perform better. And if he/she is convinced that the boss has his/her interest in mind, then he'll stay (retention).

I am working with one of my client organizations & we were looking at ways to reduce attrition & improve performance. This PPT has given some ideas in that direction.
