Starting a New Business in Chennai: Can I Use My Existing Company Registration?

I'm new to this forum and glad to introduce myself to you all. I have registered a Telemarketing company and now I want to register an online business directory business. I want to know, can I use the same registration number of the other company to run this organization, even though the names are different? In case I can't, can I register the other one as a sister concern of the telemarketing organization? I'm based in Chennai and I'm looking into the legal issues involved and what can be done...

You can't because that other one you registered for a telemarketing service while this new company is for an online business directory, which are very different services from each other. You need to register separately. They can be considered sister companies since you will be the owner.
