How To Register A Sole Proprietorship?

I'm new to this forum and glad to introduce myself to you all. I have registered a Telemarketing company and now I want to register an online business directory business. I want to know can I use the same registration number of the other company to run this organisation however the names are different. In case I can't can I register the other one as a sister concern of the telemarketing organisation. I'm based in Chennai and i'm looking at the legal issues involved and what can be done...

you can't because that other one you registered for a telemarketing services while this new company is for online business directory which are very different service from each other. you need to register separately. they can be considered sister company since you will be one owner.
